What will you do when you find a Defect in the product that you are Testing?

first step is to write defect report with defect id,testcase id,defect procedure,defect status,defect identified by,defect assigned to,defect raised date,defect closed date,defect severity,defect priority.
(identify bug and report to the developer with proof(snap shots) that is reproducing the bug.
check if the bug has been fixed.if fixed then do retesting & regression testing.)
